In addition the HSE have introduced a new way of applying for a medical card/doctor visit card. Under this new system, people can apply online and upload any photographs or documents required. Under this scheme there is no need to get the form signed in our surgery and the HSE have promised that the whole process between applying for your medical card and receiving it will be 15 Days. In order for your newborn baby to be added to your medical card, you will need to apply for a medical card for them. We can help with this. For this we will need your babies date of birth and PPS number.If you require assistance , please contact Karen our Practice Manager through the contact us form or by phoning our surgery.

The European Health Insurance Card or EHIC (fornerly the E111 form) allows the holder to access health care services when travelling to other EU or EEA countries.
